Raffle Raises Money for Mobile Meals

Jim Click Automotive Team has donated a Nissan Leaf to Raffle to benefit Tucson Charities

Mobile Meals hopes you will buy one raffle ticket or five with all proceeds of ticket sales go directly to Mobile Meals. There will only be 40,000 tickets sold. Drawing for the winner
will be on April 27th.

From Our Heart to Your Home

Mobile Meals helps preserve the health, dignity and independence of homebound adults by delivering special diet meals. Mobile Meals of Tucson, inc. is a volunteer based, non-profit organization delivering special diet meals to the homebound. We are dedicated to providing meals to homebound adults to help them maintain their health and remain living independently. Volunteers deliver meals, and provide social contact and a connection to other community organizations.

Mobile Meals clients are referred to the program. Clients are eligible if they are homebound, have special dietary needs, and are unable to cook or shop for themselves. Clients are provided with two meals a day, Monday through Friday, usually a hot and cold meal. Meals are prepared by eight different local healthcare facilities.

We are always in need of drivers to deliver meals, and we have an urgent need for more client interviewers. If you like to help people and have 1 ½ or 3 hours per week, please call our office at (520) 622-1600 or email volunteers@mobilemealsoftucson.org.
